The TunnelMESH Long Range Nodes provide the network connectivity underground in a mine or tunnel. The nodes can be supplied in a tripod format for short term confined space entry projects, or on a custom-built bracket for longer duration projects.
TunnelMESH powered by Kinetic Mesh.
Unlike traditional meshing technologies, which rely on a single stationery controller node to manage decisions across the network, every node in a Kinetic Mesh® network can act independently. The InstaMesh protocol seamlessly networks fixed, wireless, and mobile nodes together and will dynamically redirect traffic between the next best available points if any one peer is compromised or obstructed. This self-healing capability not only provides for no single point of failure, but the fault-tolerant network’s nodes can seamlessly switch between available radio frequencies based on best-path analysis at the node level.
P67 for Outdoor Deployments
-40 °C to +60 °C (-40 ºF to 140 ºF) temperature range
2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Radio Frequencies
Supports a wide variety of IIoT applications in traditionally hard-to-network industrial environments.
Robust Security for Any Application
Supports cryptographic options used for data and MAC-address encryption and per-hop, per-packet authentication
Lightweight and Portable Design
Offers the flexibility of multiple mounting options, making it ideal for deployment on light-duty vehicles
Short/Medium Term Hire
The TunnelMESH solution is available to purchase or is available to hire for a short or medium term, to provide a temporary and quick to deploy confined space communication network. TunnelMESH has been deployed on tunnel inspection projects, railway temporary workings, tunnel track upgrades, tunnel refurbishments, mine inspections, and many other projects.
