Motorola R7 Radio

MOTOTRBO™ R7 is a digital portable two-way radio offering loud, clear and customisable audio in a rugged, reliable and connected device. Advanced audio processing helps ensure your voice is clearly understood, while its robust construction is designed for demanding working environments.

Motorola R7 Series

The Motorola Solutions R7 Series includes the R7a, R7 Capable and R7 Premium. The R7a is available as a non-keypad radio, while the R7 Capable and R7 Premium models are available in both full keypad and non-keypad versions.

The R7a has a fixed feature set. The R7 Capable can be upgraded using licence keys to add additional functionality, while the R7 Premium includes the full range of supported premium features out of the box.

TIA Intrinsically Safe Options

R7a, R7 Capable and R7 Premium models are also available as TIA Intrinsically Safe versions when used with the appropriate certified battery. Both the radio and battery must be TIA certified for full approval; fitting a TIA battery to a standard R7 radio does not make the radio TIA accredited.
