Intrinsically Safe
Engineered for use in specified hazardous environments, with internationally recognised blue housing and safety certifications dependent on radio variant.
Tait Communications

Designed for maximum safety in hazardous working environments, the Tait TP9361 IS combines rugged IP68 protection, flexible digital and analogue communications, and advanced worker-safety functionality in one professional portable radio.
The Tait TP9361 IS is an Intrinsically Safe digital mobile radio (DMR) portable, designed for teams working in potentially hazardous environments. Built to Tait Tough standards, it combines durable construction with clear voice communications and essential worker-safety features.
Its multi-mode capability supports conventional DMR Tier 2, trunked DMR Tier 3, MPT 1327 and conventional analogue FM. This gives organisations flexibility when operating across existing and evolving radio networks.
Worker-safety functionality includes a programmable emergency key, Man Down and Lone Worker features. Optional GNSS Location Services and Tait GeoFencing can help coordinate teams and automate location-based actions. Digital noise suppression, text messaging and a range of Intrinsically Safe accessories further support everyday operations.
The distinctive blue housing identifies the radio as an Intrinsically Safe model. Suitability for a particular hazardous area depends on the radio’s exact certification, frequency band, output power, battery and approved accessories.
